It took Alex most of the day and night to finally clear the zone. It took him so much time that once we finally landed, I immediately passed out due to sheer exhaustion, so I don't know for certain what happened afterwards. I was so tired I even forgot to eat something for dinner, so when I woke up, I decided to eat more than usual to compensate.
The guys had barely prepared anything, and we all slept on just a bunch of soft leaves and maybe a bunch of those yoga mats. Weirdly enough, I wasn't in any pain, despite sleeping outside in the cold with just a bunch of leaves to cover my body.
'This magic thing is really strange; since that incident, there are these kinds of weird things I can't really get; how can I possibly get my arm numb by sleeping on it but then feel nothing when I sleep in the cold with light clothing.'
I noticed that the one in charge of surveying us was Marcello, and what was worse was the fact that he was sleeping on duty.
