I'm not sure what he was doing, but I could see at least three other crests active that he was using: one was a snake with many heads; one was a spider web that covered his entire back and the left side of his chest; and just under the snake I mentioned before there were a couple of masks, one in front showing a smiling face and the one behind showing an angry face.
'Just how many different crests has he memorized in prison?'
Alex never taught us the sacred behind his weird technique; what we know is that the procedure causes the skin to turn completely white, causes the loss of crests, and increases muscular strength. So far from what I've gathered, the way the crests appear on his body is due to another technique, and that doesn't seem to annul the effect of the first one, so he's constantly in a stronger form than everybody else.
