It didn't take much time for that creature to intervene again. Not even two hours after Diego reawakened, it came to warn me one last time. It stopped time, so I was the only witness this time, and she ordered me to put him back to sleep. But this time he handed me a special collar that he promised would work on Diego.
'Why?'
"Certain things don't deserve the privilege of living." He answered.
"Then why don't you kill him instead?"
He didn't answer; she just disappeared, leaving that cursed item in my hands. Once time started flowing again, Diego immediately noticed the collar and immediately got on guard.
"What's that?"
"A gift from the creature we were talking about earlier." I responded while looking down at that item.
"Then what are you waiting for? Break it apart." He said it with his usual inexpressive face.
