I made yet another attempt at summoning my mech, but it failed once again, so I simply yelled "Fine!" and charged ahead at the risk of dying; if my homeland wished for my death this much, then I couldn't exactly do much to oppose it.
The blood formed a bunch of chains that wrapped themselves around Giovanni and Marcello and violently swung their bodies around the opponent; unfortunately, both me and Nicole were standing within the range of that attack.
After Giovanni's body was slammed against me, the chains immediately retreated. Then I saw the man holding a giant sword, swinging it down towards us.
Ellen was able to pull us out of the danger as Valis slammed her gigantic hammer against the blood-covered opponent, who blocked it, making a large hand out of blood, then the large hand crushed the hammer with its immense strength.
