Bran Ai walked into the forest once more; along the same path he had taken earlier.
With each step his body fell slightly forcing him to put extra strength onto either one of his legs to correct his stance.
An ear splitting headache started to plague him with no end, his eyes started to pulsate unable to fully open as each ray of light felt like a blade being pushed into his skull.
How many steps had he taken? how much further did he need to go? Can he make it back or will he crash in the forest?
Bran Ai didn't know if he could go any further yet his body wouldn't stop and his mind was set on pushing until the end.
The shade provided by the trees gave him the slightest of respite against the light, he did not know why this sudden headace had started but for now it would be best to stay still.
"Just a small break" he reassured himself.
An hour later he awoke in a daze sweating heavily finding himself unable to move without great strain.
"Should I go back...? But the bush berries are already nearby anyway" deciding to keep going against better judgement he ventured further.
As he neared the bush berry field Brain Ai felt his mind become chaotic, he couldn't control his actions climbing up tree roots that did not need to be climbed while being unable to stop himself from falling off the other side.
'Why? Why am I climbing these? Why can't I move as I want?' every step drew him closer to his goal while relinquishing bodily control.
As if he was being puppeteer-ed to move regardless of his will; he drew closer and closer to not just the bush berries but the center of the berry bush field.
Bran Ai soon started to get caught by branches latching onto his nearly torn clothes just short of cutting into his skin.
At the center of the berry field the flower towering above the bushes glowed with a green blue hue giving it a spectral feel that made Bran Ai come to his senses.
'I need to get away from here! Please move! Move anywhere else!' regaining his mind he fought against whatever force was pupeteering his body.
The forest in the nearby vicinity started to become gloomier as the flower started to spread its light to encapsulate the surroundings.
Bran Ai unable to break free from this unkown force fell into the flowers grasp as he arrived at the base of the flowers stem.
The surroundings became silent, nearby animals regardless of insect or bird dropped to the ground dead while all nearby flora started to whither as the flowers stem grew vines quickly encompassing Bran Ai in a cocoon of vines.
Bran Ai lost conscience unable to stay awake any longer, exhaustion built up over the day had overwhelmed him beyond his limits several time over and as the flowers scent reached his nose fatigue overtook him.
His body finally going limp as the vines lifted him slightly off the ground inching ever closer to the flower.
Each flower petal began to twist outward spilling dew onto the vines encompassing Bran Ai, slowly seeping in the dew acted with direction finding its way into Bran Ais open orifices.
Spectral flower light started to fade as peace returned to the forest with the surrounding area having been turned into a waste land.
Nearby trees had been sucked dry of any nutrients leaving only hollow and thin husks standing. Insect carcasses littered the ground with the birds leaving nothing but feathers behind and small animals leaving only their pelts behind.
Las Nicho several thousand miles away surrounded him self with 10 silver trees as he started to chant a spell.
Raven had tried to close the distance multiple times with each attempt forcing him to back-peddle to reduce the damage he would otherwise receive.
Not willing to be the one on the receiving end Raven spread his arms wide as his physique started to change into a more animalistic form.
Silver light spread clashing with the moonlight as Las Nicho finished his spell, Raven had likewise transformed into a towering white-brown bear disappearing into the darkness.
A tree fell from the sky onto the forest below followed by another until five trees landing in a pentagon formation on the ground, the trees left in the air mirrored the locations on the ground.
"Battlefield Killer move! Soul lametta!" Las Nicho flew higher in the air as he made contact with his disciples.
Thin ribbons glittered from each tree like snowfall before launching in all directions forming a silver-white wall spreading outwards attempting to cut all in its way.
These ribbons seemed to phase past trees, rocks and any fauna it came across without leaving a mark initially only to fall apart a second later.
Raven could not outrun this attack choosing to launch himself once more at Las Nichos facing the silver wall headed his way without fear.
As the ribbon like blades struck Ravens bear form it shred his fur little by little while some stuck to him slowly worming its way deeper into his fur.
The wall of ribbons turned into a sea attempting to drown Raven while blinding his sense of direction, Raven pushed forward arriving at the last location of Las Nicho only to find no one.
'Where?!' Raven flew higher in the air while resisting the endless assault released by the silver trees.
"It is too late now Raven, you have lost the initiative completely" Las Nichos voice sounded nearby yet raven could not locate him.
Curling up into a ball Raven glowed like the sun releasing a blast of energy spreading just far enough to reveal Las Nichos, the bear ball started rotating in the air causing the air to turn hot.
Ravens rolled up bear form then barreled itself in the same direction Las Nicho stood with astonishing speed leaving an after image made of sonic booms.
Grabbing a nearby silver tree Las Nicho defended against the rolling bear fire ball being pushed back several miles.
"Heavens fall!" Roared Las Nicho.
A wreath high above them released a silver orb from its center.
The orb fell with such speed it left a trail of light directly striking Ravens bear form in the back stopping his rotation.
Raven fell from the sky with an explosion that shook the entire nearby mountain range.
"trigger the formation now!" Las Nicho commended.
Far in the distance the disciples lifted their arms in the air as the pillars started to hum louder and louder with each passing moment.
Holding the tree in his hands Las Nicho prepared an attack aimed directly at ravens laying body.
He wouldn't allow for any form of recovery to be made least it hinders his plans.
The silver blades produced by the silver trees had spread tens of miles in all directions closing off all paths available to raven on land and air.
Raven recovered from the heavy blow with great struggle and opened his mouth launching a beam of energy toward the sky in an attempt to knock Las Nicho to the ground.
Las Nicho swung the silver tree like a sword as a wave of sword energy crashed down into the ground.
The small silver ribbons of coalesced onto the sword energy enhancing the attack to an uncontrollable level.
Ravens attack had been cut in two with half of his bear face disappearing, narrowly avoiding his entire body being cut in two.
At the same time a hum could be heard from all directions splitting ravens attention in two.
'Truly they had no intention of letting me go, from the beginning it was all bound to end this way' raven had no doubts he would die today but he wouldn't go without a fight.
The silver ribbons had trapped him, Las Nicho had restrained him, while from afar a ear piercing attack cracked the sky all aimed to subdue him.
"Hmph" Raven was not going to go down with a few simple attacks like this, he knew something bug was coming so he would react in kind.
Raven closed his eyes while his paws kneaded the earth.
Noticing this inaction from raven, Las Nicho prepared several defensive spells along wit three silver tuning forks.
'These tuning forks should allow me to last a few minutes inside the formation without dying, worst case scenario ill use my golden wreath crown to survive'
Having prepared himself to keep Raven inside the formation Las Nicho heightened his senses to the max.
Raven opened his eyes still in his bear form before standing on his hind legs and pulling on the ground.
A golden curtain of energy was dragged up from the ground around 9 feet in the air until Raven let go.
The golden energy returned to the ground with a rumble that caused the ground to shake thousands of miles across the Cascadia mountain range.
The sound from the earth caused the humming from the pillars to be softened buying more time for raven to keep fighting just a little longer.
"..." Las Nicho did not know what to say, so far he had contained the fighting within a fairly small area yet Raven had just triggered an earthquake across the entire mountain range simply to buy time.
'It seems I was far too unprepared to deal with the fallout of this fight, next time I will ask for extra assistance for these types of missions'
"Slaying field, Pierce!" Las Nicho put two fingers together before pointing toward the nearest silver tree not on hand.
The silver trees pointed in the direction of Raven and launched themselves in his direction like meteors.
Raven dodge the first attack kicking himself up in the direction of Las Nicho.
The next tree had better luck, cutting into his bear thigh leaving a gash covered in silver ribbons that would dig into his flesh like worms.
With the ground turning into liquid below him by his own creation raven had no choice but to fight in the air but each step closer left him worse off then before.
