Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: High School Of Power

(A/N: Damn this sucks. I wrote a chapter and thought I published it but it didn't happen. Some changes might be made and thanks for 400 views!( cringe asf ngl) )

The walk home was uneventful as me and Emilia didn't speak much, apart for the few questions we asked each other.

I got to know her a bit more. I must admit she is pretty cute. But, I knew we couldn't reciprocate those feelings, even if they were there, I understand.

Of course me and Emilia called the police and I asked her to take credit since I didn't want to be involved. Of course, I wanted to boast about this to my friends but I couldn't.

I arrived home expecting a long lecture from my mom but it was oddly quiet. I reached the kitchen and saw a note on the wall,

[Be safe, I will be back on Thursday, just a little busy. Take care. Love mom *heart*]

'Two days from now, huh...' It was currently Tuesday. I looked at the paper and sighed. I hastily ate and run to my room to begin my researching.

The High School Of Power was an elite school! Nurturing powerhouses that are all now famous! It was a stepping stone for a bright future and Sariel wanted part in this. His unique ability and physique gave him an edge over other fighters his level, And not to say too much of his ability TO ERASE PEOPLE! If people found out about it he would have been scouted by the High School Of Power Right now but, Sariel was clueless of his on value.

(Writing from third Pov from now)

Sariel began his research, he found articles of the high school of power's entrance exam to be changed every year which was... expected.

Sariel decided to do some research on his ability or something similar but nothing pops up. With a sigh of frustration he opens he system panel,

[Name: Sariel Raine

Power core level: 1

Body: 20

Spirit: 20

Energy: 23

Class: None

Physique: Omni-Physique

Power Core: Alter]

Sub-power: Sever

[Potential Talent: None]

'I guess I should begin grinding tomorrow, 5 more months till the entrance exam. Aren't I supposed to fight beasts to level up? Hmm learning how to use a weapon isn't too bad. But who will train me...' For now he couldn't get answers as his eyes slowly closed and he fell asleep.

Unbeknownst to Sariel, A hooded figure standing on the roof looked at Sariels house, "It's with him... I wonder what will become of him if he has... That..."

****

Sariel woke up and started his daily routine. He bathed, brushed his teeth, ate and dressed up. He was ready to go but before that he took a look at himself.

He wore a black leather jackets and denim trousers, black boots that reached his knee and a backpack.

As he walked on the roads his received stairs from countless people, men and women alike. Sariel is an attractive fellow he was sure to a few glances.

Sariel went to the nearby dungeon called, [Slime Sanctuary] a begginer dungeon. Sariel walked and smiled with confidence oozing out of him like oil from fried chicken.

He approached the guards. They were guards for every dungeon. Sariel approached the guards and they exchanged greetings. One of the guards muttered to the other one, "Another one of those arrogant youths, I can smell that all that will be left will be bones." The other guard chuckled but said nothing.

"I will like to raid this dungeon please," Asked Sariel with a sweet smile.

"Sign this first," The guard said before a contract appeared before him.

A spatial ring!

Sariel almost drooled as he looked at the ring on the guards finger.

Spatial rings were created using a spatial ore. The spatial rings main function was to store non living entities. Sariel would have gotten one instead of backpack if it wasn't so priceless. *Sigh* The luxury of rich people.

Sariel took a pen from his bag since he knew he needed it. He quickly signed the papers without reading, since the papers were mostly about the hunters guild taking a 20% share of his loot drops and the part of them not taking responsibility of his death. Even if it wasn't about that, who will want to steal from a solo level one player?

After signing the papers, Sariel set of and entered the dungeon the gate opened which allowed him to enter. He bravely took a step forward and light soon covered his being. "It's time to level up... reminds me of that hunter manga..."

----------

Sariel appeared in a plain like biome which was mostly flat, the terrain didn't prove a disadvantage for Sariel. Due to it being a Begginer dungeon, Sariel wasn't fazed.

Grass covered most of the landscape and a few trees were among the dungeon. [Slime Sanctuary] operated differently, instead of it being floors this was a straight path.

Sariel followed the path and he encountered his first monster, a slime!

[Blue Slime

Level: 1]

"Oh shit, I didn't bring weapons!" Sariel quickly looked through his bag and found something feasible, A Knife!

'This will do' Sariel held the knife and yelled, "Come at me you damn slime!" Sariel looked at his system panel once again,
