"I want to come out," said Aldi. "But I'm afraid you'll shoot me again, you damn girl!"
"Eh?!" Ely just realized that the shadow of the person she shot earlier was Aldi. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it."
"Jerk!" Aldi smirked. "I almost died in your hands."
Aldi came out of hiding and approached Ely.
"Sorry," said Ely again. "I thought you were attacked by someone. So I–"
Ely was silent, Aldi's lips forced Ely to say nothing but return the kiss.
"Never mind," Aldi smiled. "Next time, look carefully before opening fire."
Aldi stepped towards the door behind the fence and Ely followed behind him.
After being near the fenced door, and seeing someone lying quietly on the ground, only then did Ely understand that the thudding sound and strange noises she had heard came from the figure lying down.
"Is he dead?"
