The faces of the four robots resemble humans. Complete with a pair of eyes—which are also closed, a pair of ears, a nose, and a mouth. The two hands are quite proportioned and each has five fingers. And a pair of legs that are also proportional, even complete with five toes.
"Pical," called Captain Dharma. "Can you access this one?"
"Sorry, Cap," said Pical over the intercom. "I can't access that room from here."
Pical tried to fiddle with the room schematic that the captain meant. However, it seems that the room cannot be accessed by Pical through the big screen in front of him.
"Yep, I can't. Perhaps, only Aios can access the room there."
"Yeah," the captain nodded. "That seems to be the case."
"Fortunately Aios has been turned off first," Indra looked at the two humanoid robots on the right.
Meanwhile, Captain Dharma and Jennie checked the one on the left side. While Vivian and Wilma did not go into the room, they preferred to continue checking the inventory in the second storage room.
The four humanoid robots, each housed in one large container, are like a cryosleep chamber made mostly of transparent glass. Several wires are connected to the bodies of the sleeping robots. On the head, back, chest and waist.
"Yeah," Captain Dharma nodded in response to Indra's words. "You're right."
The captain did not know for sure what the four humanoid robots were on this plane. The four of them were smaller than the guard robots he had met at Pangandaran Castle or even the working robots. Their shape is completely different. The humanoid robots before them now were eighty percent like a human.
And what Indra said was true, thought Captain Dharma. If only Aios wasn't deactivated first, that Artificial Intelligence would likely activate the four humanoid robots to capture them all. Or at worst, destroy this spaceship.
"It seems," said Jennie after observing the sleeping robots for long enough, "they were made to do special jobs."
"If you look at the shape of their five fingers that resemble human fingers," said Captain Dharma, responding to Jennie's thoughts. "Yeah, that seems like that."
"How about yourself, Cap?" asked Indra.
"You mean?"
"You are as surprised as we are," Indra smirked. "Could it be that you don't know what that fat lord is planning?"
"Are you laughing at me, Indra?" Captain Dharma snorted softly. "Don't you all remember that fat pig plotting bad things against my daughter and wife?"
"Sorry, Cap," Indra chuckled while nodding. "I'm just making sure. No other purpose."
"Never mind," said the captain. "We'll find out what's so special about these four humanoid robots once Aios can be mastered later."
"Could it be?" Jennie's frowning face showed otherwise. "Mastering Aios?"
Aios was not like the robots they used to find, not even the four robots in front of them right now, Jennie knew this for sure. It takes the extraordinary ability of a great programmer to be able to control that Artificial Intelligence, instead of changing all the commands that have been embedded in the Aios brain.
"Well, this is just my plan," Captain Dharma smiled, and was pretty sure what he was thinking. "You can't say if we can or not. To be sure, we do need Aios as the overall supervisor of this plane if we want to survive and make this plane home for all of us."
"I don't know," Jenny shrugged. "No offense, Cap. But, to me, that sounds impossible."
"We will see later."
"Who can do that?" Jennie stared at the captain's face, the doubt showing on her face. "You mean the man who was able to change the warp ability of this aircraft engine earlier, is that so?"
"Ryan," said the captain. "Haven't you two met each other yet?"
"Just a moment," said Jennie. "Then?"
"Yeah," Captain Dharma nodded slightly as he folded his arms across his chest. "Of course, I did expect a lot from him. I've known him for quite a while. And about his skill with machines and computers, well… I bet on that."
"Hopefully he can do it," Jennie muttered half inaudibly. "Or else Aios will become the Angel of Death for all of us."
"You know," Indra said to Jennie, "worrying is necessary because we are living beings. It's just that we also need to be optimistic without rushing."
"Shut up!" Jenny snorted. "Don't make fun of me!"
"I'm not making fun of you, Jen," but Indra covered his mouth to suppress his laughter.
"Fuck you!" Jennie hit Indra's shoulder.
Yes, a satire because before that Jennie was so impatient to fiddle with the panel on the door of the room when it was still not open, and even banged on the door.
"Well, I just meant," said Indra as he put his arm around Jennie's shoulders, "so that you can be more patient. Not reckless. To make you look smarter, so you don't look like someone from a backward nation, understand?"
"What's the relationship between the two?" said Jennie while gently elbowing Indra's ribs. "I don't see a correlation between the backwardness of a nation and optimism. I swear, not at all. And I don't want to hear any more philosophical pretentious words from your mouth!"
"Oh, honey…" Indra laughed softly as he raised his hands as high as his shoulders. "Chill out, geez!"
"What's wrong with you two?" said Captain Dharma while shaking his head and two hands on his waist. "In a moment you guys get along, then fuss, and then get along again. Not tired?"
Indra and Jennie, as far as the captain knew, were lovers. From the beginning, the two of them were assigned by the fat ruler as ship logistics supervisor, two-three months ago, Captain Dharma had seen this special relationship between Jennie and Indra.
There were times when the captain shook his head at the behavior of the two. Or, maybe this is the love relationship of today's young generation. At least, that's the conclusion that was in the captain's head, because so often he saw small fights with the intimacy of Jennie and Indra.
Well, as it is now happening before his eyes.
"Sorry, Cap," Jennie looked down with a smile. However, her eyes instead glanced with a sharp look at Indra.
Indra immediately tiptoed towards the door, a sign of surrender to the pressure that Jennie showed him.
