Chapter 1 - The Past and The Future

In the morning at the park near an apartment, a family included a father, a mother and their son was at there to spent their family time. The son walked slowly towards a red line that his father made with a red rope. Then, he crossed the line. Felt happy with his accomplishments, he call out his parents.

"Mom, Dad! Look, I've cross the line!" He called his parents with an excitement.

"Oooh, congrats! You are so good, my son!" The father ran to his son and lifted him up to the sky. The mother walked with a smile on her face when she saw her husband and son.

"Be careful, Dear. You might drop him, you know." The wife said to her husband while resting her head on her husband's shoulder.

"Sorry, sorry. I just really happy with our son. He growing up so much." He said while held his son.

This might look like a normal happy family. But... only time will tell.

A sound of heavy rain fill the room and the light from thunder light up a room for a second. Stood there a figure of man holding a kitchen knife in his right hand. His face is cover by darkness, keep his identity in secret. His body is facing a door, maybe he want to go out.

A voice come from the back.

"Why are you doing this?" The voice may not be hear because of the rain, but a man open his mouth and ask,

"Dad, have... I... cross the line?" His voice is full of fear, regret and sad.

There is a silent for few second before the voice from the back answer.

"Yes, ... you are, ...my son. " He stretch his arm before drop it on the ground. Show a sign that he is dead.

The man look at his father's body with regret. He drop on his knee and crying. He is crying and crying, regret with a choice he made.
