Ariel stood looking out the window as the rain came down and rubbed her forehead. This was really starting to give her a headache. The financing for their lands was tight with the attack that happened before the wedding and they were behind with their yields. She fixed as much as she could and even with her contacts she had enough to comfortably keep those she was in charge of fed as the dry season would be coming soon.
Alectro was going to make a bid for the land to the south. Ariel didn't have enough to bid against him and get that land. Even if Vento threw in with her, he would be tight as he was just approved to start the mining that they had wanted so bad. Which was going to tie up a lot of money and it wouldn't start coming back in until the mine was operational.
