You fall upon your knees before the creature, to the amazement of the onlookers. "Oh vessel of the mortal humors, I kneel humbly before you…" But before you can continue your improvised speech, the beast is upon you! His clawlike hands dig at your chest, as if to draw your very heart from it. Thankfully, your resilience protects you from his attack. You throw the wanderer off of you and flee the petal tent.
You find yourself in the open air, under the canopy of the Nomad City. Night has fallen, and the wanderers are everywhere, snarling and clawing at the air like hungry animals, their eyes glowing red like iron in the forge. As the enraged souls descend upon you, the terrified Cabrians do their best to stay out of their way.
