With your horses well-rested and the sun past its height, you press on together. You keep to the growing shadows, until they soften in the coming moonlight; then you make camp and find yourself falling into a dream.
This time, after the familiar images of the Nomad City, the dream carries you even further into the future. You find yourself standing beside the mysterious stranger, somewhere deep in the hills, at the mouth of a torch-lit cave. The rock of the cave is black, and it reflects the moonlight the way water does—but the darkness within the cave is deeper still, and a plaintive moaning sound proceeds from it.
