You turn to see the high mystic of Vhyr emerging from a darkened alcove. The symbols embroidered on his robes dance gold in the lamplight.
You bow to him more deeply than you did to the kah. "I had not realized this matter would require your attention, Belairon…"
"The situation demands it," the mystic explains. "Those who challenge our city challenge the patron. That is why he has called you here today."
At last you understand: it was not the kah who summoned you today, nor was it truly Belairon. You have been called to the palace by none other than the Great God Vhyrian himself!
You look through the throne room window, at his scowling effigies.
