As Samira heads back to her campers, the Great Field starts to simmer down into quiet for the beginning of morning announcements.
"Good morning, Camp Cedarcrest!" Ms. Martin begins, her voice crackling through a megaphone.
"Good morning, Ms. Martin!" a smattering of campers calls back.
Ms. Martin smiles encouragingly. "Let's try that again!"
"GOOD MORNING MS. MARTIN!!!" several hundred children scream at the top of their lungs.
