The lights went off, and Davis had successfully cut off the power supply to frustrate Petra and Matt during the surgery.
Clarke looked up as he got distracted by the backup lights, and that was how Lewis took to his heels.
Lewis ran into the janitor's office and quickly locked the door. He stood behind the door, panting heavily as he heard banging on the door.
"Shit!! The lights are gone. What are we going to do?" Petra asked as she panicked seriously. "She had lost Thomas the last time she was in charge of the surgery, and she never wanted that to happen again."
"We'll just try with the backup lights," Matt said as he tried comforting Petra and building up a little confidence in himself.
They tried their best to use the backup lights, but it seemed impossible. The lights weren't bright enough for the surgery they were about to carry out.
