Since she became CEO, all has been well with her... Well, not in the literal sense, but she had been doing quite well before the arrival of Petra.
She knew that she couldn't blame Petra for being a misfortune.
Mrs. Walker was sure that it was Karma that was playing a big one in her, and she was ready to embrace it regardless, willfully.
The day was almost gone. She checked her watch and discovered that it was past two pm. Returning to her seat in her office, she decided to go through some of the documents on her table.
It had been quite a long time since she could work, but she knew that she needed to save the hospital from total damnation even after the entire drama.
She heard a knock on the door and hesitated at first before allowing whoever was out therein.
