"Tell me what happened, Steward," Enzo urged, pulling Steward up encouragingly. In all the years the man had worked for him, he had never seen him so broken, so alone, so detached. It was almost as though Steward was going to ask for retirement. But Enzo would never give it to him. They had a lot of things to handle, a long way to go. Besides, Enzo knew fast and what an overflow of emotions could do to a man Especially one who was so foreign to it. Just because the man had broken down didn't mean that he was weak. It didn't mean that Enzo would cast him away. He wasn't going to judge him. Steward was one of the most intelligent and intellectual men he had.
