She walks where they guide her without putting up a fight. The questions roaming inside Jessica's head have now become nothing but thoughts. She has to find the answers on her own. She has to fill them with her own imagination and try to find a way out of here. She has now come to the awareness that she is not safe.
When they reach the beginning of a dark staircase where nothing is seen at the bottom, Jessica finally lets all her doubts kick in. With all the energy she can gather, she pushes against the guard who was walking carefully behind her and tries to run for the window. She trips, however, and feels the manly arm grabbing her legs and pulling her back. She screams, throwing and kicking her feet in hopes that it would give her the freedom she desires.
