Stefan shifted uncomfortably on his feet. His eyes flickered nervously toward Steward, who remained still, a silent observer of the whole exchange. "Look, it's nothing too serious, alright? I—I got drunk at this club in Manhattan, had a good time with some women. You know how it goes." He laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his neck, avoiding Enzo's stare. "I made some new friends, didn't realize they were cops... didn't mean for any of this to happen."
Enzo's jaw clenched, the muscles in his neck tensing. "You mean to tell me you got drunk with some women and told them about our business?" His voice was low, dangerous.
Stefan's smile faltered. "I didn't mean to. I was just having fun. I swear. I probably said some stuff, but I didn't think they were cops. They just... they were friendly, you know?"
