Lily shut her eyes as she took slow steady steps toward the nurse. She needed to make sure that she was being told the truth. That the nurse was not wasting their time or leading them into a trap. even though she needed to save Noah she still needed to be cautious about everything. She knew that she could no longer trust the humans even though she had grown up all her life among them. Lily understood the words of Dr. Isaac when he told her that they couldn't just walk in there without a plan.
The doctor seemed to have had personal experience and encounters with the humans in a way that even she herself could not describe. When she had seen him hit the girl earlier she had now understood that Dr. Isaac was not as soft as she had assumed him to be. that he was willing to do what it took as long as it was for a good cause.
