Chapter 3
''Hold this little bitch down!'' Gerald said, folding up his fist enthusiastically while Tomas' picked her up and held her.
The girl was almost not moving, new dents and bruises covering her face as there was that new swollen area on the side of her ribs. Crying would be of no use, not when these three men were around her, each of them were ready to partner in making her life a living hell.
She was so used to the beatings and acquiring new bruises is not something unfamiliar to her. The man proceeded to throw kicks and punches to her stomach while the third man, Michael Owen, moved towards the kitchen area to grab himself a beer. He enjoyed that little show where Lily winced in pain.
''You don't have to act like it hurts so much. You always heal better than the rest of us.'' the man said to her, watching her Tears Dry down her cheeks.
Even though she had been crying at the beginning, she somehow got used to the torture and the pain. She was their punching bag. There are no other words that would be given for her, especially at the state she was in right now. How she managed to cover up all the bruises and injuries with makeup was some real talent.
Perhaps it was the adrenaline or they were determined to make sure that she had done what they had demanded of her. She knew that it was a basic necessity to cover up those bruises, in order to make sure that no attention came to her and no one dared ask a question, Lily knew that it was better to be on the safe side and acquire a lesser amount of beatings. right now she was being punished because she got herself wet in the rain last night and she had not come with breakfast like they had requested her to.
there will come a time where the young teenage girl will get tired of the torture and she would let herself go. Lily knew that all she needed to do was toughen up and get used to the beatings. perhaps when that happened should close up herself and shutdown but part of her human that still had her to become the kind of vulnerable human she was.
There was no other way he would adjust today then welcoming the painful stop she needed to embrace it she needed to expect the bruises and the Kicks. She needed to accept the bands and the punches that came to her face every day. She needed to understand that the days where she only received two to three punches were probably a very good day where the men were in a very good mood. somehow this was the only people she could call family.
She knew nothing and no one else other than the men who took her in. Her mind was so blank of any memories that occurred before their arrival into her life. When the phone at the side of the kitchen counter rang, Gerald stopped his punches as he moved towards it excitedly. it would appear as though he had been waiting for a call. Lily took in a deep breath feeling the pain in her inner organs with every inhale.
A few whispers and murmurs as all the three men share different and knowing looks. Communicating among themselves, They opened their mind link and shared a word or two about the destination that they would soon be heading to. everything was about Lily and her future and the reason as to why they had been keeping her all this time.
They needed to keep the girl under the radar. they needed to keep her away from other parks just like them. they needed to be away from creatures of the Year species and to keep her away from the knowledge of who exactly she truly was. the lousy man who still held Lily, letting her drop onto the cold floor aggressively.
''Listen to me princess! Gerald says, his fingers caressing the swollen area of her cheek with violence.
He loved t see her in pain, he loved that sight before him. To see his knuckles filled with blood. His fist aching because of how bad he had punched her. He was invested in the pain he gave, almost like a profession of his. A man who loved to dominate.
''When we get back, I expect you to make us dinner. Find something and cook good food, else I'm going to have to discipline you again.'' he said to her,an evil smirk on his face as he released her and began to walk away.
The rest of the men had nothing to say, all walking towards the door, the truth then disappeared without a word. Lilly recollected herself in a ball, no tears, no cries, no word, just utter silence. Time to reflect on exactly what they had said, on how she would be able to make dinner with literally no grocery and nothing in the fridge.
She knew she would be punished again. She knew that all they had been doing was finding better excuses to beat her up. Even though she tried, she could not avoid it, she needed a way to make an income, so that she would give her wounds time to properly heal before they inflicted new ones.
Right now, lily smith needed to get to school, she could not afford an absenteeism as that would make the teachers notice her. She dragged herself up, holding into the rim of the staircase one case at a time. She shook the cold, gasping as she felt the continuous pain on every part of her body. There wasn't a part that was ok, her entire body was in pain. Her skin was filled with bruises, when other heeled, new ones were added to the collection.
Would she ever be saved, was there a better future for her? There was only one person who could decide that; destiny!
