The Central Square of the Middle City was engulfed in a somber silence, where mourning was palpable on every face. The atmosphere was heavy, reflecting the sadness that permeated the crowd. From the commoners of the Lower City, most of them being prostitutes and children, to merchants and nobles, everyone was gathered around the flower-adorned coffin, guarded by knights whose armor gleamed under the pale sunlight.

King Artios, standing before the crowd, began his speech. His voice, grave and solemn, echoed through the square, laden with a dignity that commanded attention:

— Duke Eugene Oregon was a remarkable man — he declared, each word imbued with respect. — From humble beginnings, he dedicated his life to study, even if it took a toll on his health. — The king continued, extolling Eugene's achievements. — He departed believing that this kingdom has a promising future, and you know what? I also believe in his dream, and I will carry it with me from now on...
