Author: Celestial_Death9
---------------
[Player: Celestial Death, has been send to Newbie Village!]
Soon, the entire scenario of Basil changed from white room, to a unknown place.
While, He was infront of wooden Fence Gate, that had [Welcome to Newbie Village] board written in it.
"Ha...! This environment feels, too real. I can't believe, this level of game is already created. I can't wait for future games." Basil then said, taking deep breaths. He could feel the refreshing air around him, then moving his arms and legs. He felt his virtual body were same like how he felt with his own body, the game was that much realistic.
Basil looking up in the sky, it was all white. Maybe because, Newbie Village wasn't a actual place of the game. It was only used for newbie players to learn about game, before leaving for the real world.
Basil then opening the Fence Gate, walked inside the village.
Where, he saw many pedestrian walking on the road of the village. All, of them were wearing medieval dresses. There were, wooden fences protecting the village's outer layer, while there were total of 10-20 huts and 3 brick houses in the village.
Criii!
Soon, the Fence Gate of Newbie Village once again opened. When, Basil soon witnessed many players walking and roaming around the roads of Village. They all were wearing medieval-style tunic, while all of there avatar were there real faces.
Because, Crown Online didn't had a function of editing there avatar
"Oh! Awesome. This sensation is really realistic."
"Ouch! Hey guys! It's seems like we can also feel a little pain." a player said, rubbing his arm from pain.
Pow!
"Huh? I didn't felt any pain though? I punched my face, you know? Only my H.P dropped damn it!"
"Heh! It seem like only small attack can give us real pain. This game don't have 99% reality sensation, you know? What do you expect?" Many players, talked about the function of games.
While, Alard moving pass them. He saw a notification, arriving.

"I guess, I will first grind my level. I need to reach Lvl: 3 to enter inside the Newbie Forest." Basil planned, before heading toward the Village Chief house.
Soon, getting near the Village Chief house. He noticed a old man, wrinkles all over his face. He was 5'7 ft tall, he was standing infront of his house.
When, Village Chief also noticed Basil.
"Welcome, Warrior of Crown! I am Henry, I welcome you to my humble village. I hope you are enjoying the tour around the village." the Village Chief greeted, he had a smile over his wrinkled face. His talking pattern didn't felt like a NPC was talking to him.
"Oh, Sure. Village Chief, Do you have any suggestions for leveling up faster?" Basil then asked, when he looked at his dress. He was wearing a medieval tunic, pant. While, he was pretty much empty all over.
"You mean, evolving? Warrior of Crown. I suggest you to visit Sir David, he is our Village weapon master. He also was given the job of training you Warriors of Crown." Village Chief said. While, Alard was alittle confused on why they were calling them Warrior of Crown and what does he mean by given job?
When he came to his conclusion; The name of game being Crown Online, they must be called Warrior of Crown because of this reason. While, World AI must be the one giving jobs to this NPC's.
"Village Chief? May I know, where is this weapon master David?" Basil asked. Village Chief giving him a nod, he pointed toward the west-side with his fingers.
"He is in that training field." he said, when Basil noticed a training field, covered with fences toward the west direction.
"Oh, Thank you! Village Chief for your help." Basil then thanked the Chief, before heading toward the direction. When other players also soon greeted the Village Chief.
...
Soon, Entering the training field. Basil was greeted with a middle aged man, with bulky build and bald head. He had moustache growing around his chin, while he was 6'6 ft tall.
"Are you Sir Drake?"
"Welcome, Warrior of Crown! And yes, I am Drake. Are you here for training?" the man asked, he welcomed Basil inside his training field. He was wearing a iron chest-plate armor, grey shirt underneath.
"Yes" Basil answered, when four weapons were summoned by Master Drake; Sword, Bow, Spear and Shield.
"So... Warrior of Crown! Which weapon do you choose? Choose wisely, because this may decide your future." Drake said, with his high-pitch voice.
Basil after pondering for awhile. He decided to choose Sword.
"Good! A sword it is!" Drake exclaimed happily, soon all four weapons disappearing. He threw a wooden sword toward Alard.
"Nice! Then Warrior of Crown. I will teach you the basic of swordstyles." Drake then said, when a straw training dummy appeared infront of Basil.
"Hit, The dummy with your sword." Drake said. Basil following his words, he hit the dummy. When a screen popped up.
[Skill: Sword Lvl 0 (4/100)]
Seeing the skill level screen. He remembered this level system. There were many skills in Crown Online, that one could practice and use. There expertise in that respective skill can be shown by this level system.
There were total of five levels: Lvl: 1 needed 100 exp to lvl up, Lvl: 2 needed 1,000 exp, Lvl: 3 needed 10,000 exp, Lvl: 4 needed 100,000 exp and Lvl 5 (max) needed 999,999 exp.
And Players, who had higher Lvl or exp in there skill level. There name will be shown in the leaderboard of official Crown Online page.
Slash!
[Skill: Sword Lvl 0 (8/100)]
Stab!
[Skill: Sword Lvl 0 (12/100)]
Each time, Basil hit the dummy. His sword skill exp increased.
"Hit the dummy, until you reach lvl 1." Drake then said, alittle surprised by Basil slashes.
While, Basil felt alittle nostalgic using his sword.
Slash!
[Skill: Sword Lvl 0 (44/100)]
Stab!
[Skill: Sword Lvl 0 (68/100)]
Wooosh!
[Skill: Sword Lvl 0 (92/100)]
[Ting! Congratulations Player! Your Skill: Sword has reached lvl 1!]
Soon, after twenty minutes of continuous striking the dummy. His skill increased including his levels.
[STR +1]
[Level up!]
[Level up!]
Clap! Clap!
"Well done, Warrior of Crown! I am pleased with your strikes. Here I want to give you a ability as a reward." Drake clapped his hands, he shared one of his ability to Basil. A screen popping up.
[Weapon Master Drake, wants to share you his Ability: Heavy Slash. Do you accept it.. Y/N]
Clicking Y, Basil soon got his first ability Heavy Slash. He was extremely happy with his progress, now he also was lvl 3. So, he met the requirements of entering Newbie Forest.
Where, he could hunt to level up faster.
"Thank you, Mr. Drake! Now, I can finally enter the Newbie Village." Basil thanked Drake. Then, leaving the training field.
He walked pass the villagers and players. Soon, Walking out of the Fence Gate. He arrived near a blue portal outside the village.
[Does Player: Celestial Death, want to enter Newbie Forest?]
"Yes."
[Please choose your area.]
• Area 1
• Area 2
• Area 3
Basil already reading the wiki, knew Area 1 was the only area he could currently handle.
Area 1 was a plain grassland. Where Slimes and Rats spawned. Slimes level cap were 2-3, while Rats level cap being 4-6.
[Area 1: Grassland is selected. Please enter the portal.]
*Whoooosshh!
[Newbie Forest, Area 1: Grassland]
Walking inside the portal, Basil was transported toward a plain grassland. Gentle breeze covered the land, while Basil could see many players. They were hunting Rats in groups, while some were solo hunting Slimes.
Slimes were easier then Rats because, even if you hit a Slime they won't attack you back. But, Rat will attack you back if you hit them. So, for most Slime were the best support to level safely in early stage.
'Maybe, I should first grind level with slimes too.' Basil thought, opening his inventory.
---
[Inventory Lvl: 1]
Items: Wooden Sword (Durability 78%),
---
Currently, Basil had twenty boxes in his inventory. Meaning he could only store twenty items. And the only way to increase the inventory boxes were by upgrading the inventory level. Which could only be done by two ways.
First was, getting items called [Inventory Stone] that was really very hard to craft, and were only dropped by a Boss-type mobs.
Second being, completing Quests that rewarded Inventory upgrade.
Then soon taking out wooden sword from his inventory. Basil targeted a Slime.
Stab!
Stabbing the Slime, an health bar appeared at the head of Slime.
---
[Slime]
[Level: 3]
[H.P: 180/169]
---
"Hiha!" Basil then swinging his sword. He killed the Slime, then moving toward next Slime, he kept on killing Slimes until he level up.
[Level up!]
'Stats' opening his stats, Basil then glanced at the screen infront of him.
