Deep in the forest, far away from the Hunter's base and where the big fight had happened, shadows began to appear and fade back. And soon after a strong whirlwind began to circle the area pulling stems of trees into it and as that happened, the shadows returned once again and this time, it hadn't disappeared back or flickered like it did from earlier. No, instead, a large round semi circle that was pitch black had covered quite the area.
And soon after the shadow semicircle had thickened now making it look like a solid structure on its own. Then soon enough it began to pull up from one end and it lifted up in a fashion that could be said to be a direct mimicry of a convertible car. But while the black structure lifted from one end, it revealed some pair of legs standing inside of it.
And soon enough, the backs of this people could be seen. Then finally, the shadow structure had gone over their heads to the other side that touched the ground and seemingly disappear. The people that the circle had just revealed now were none other than Yang and the members of the legion faction.
They all stood in a circular formation as well. And from what could be seen, they were all holding hands, well except for the few injured ones like Mia who was being carried by Johan. Some of them were still yet to open their eyes and were completely unaware that Rodney's plan was over.
Speaking of Rodney's plan, what could be considered as their life saver. Right before the sky had turned red and when the fight was at it's climax. Rodney had made use of the new skill rewarded to him by the system for successfully completing the quest given to him back at the prison.

[Quest completed: Escape]
[Rewards: New skill unlocked]
[Warp]
[Tactical retreat is always an option provided on the table. Host isn't the strongest out there and therefore would need an escape route from a fight sometimes. Skill can be activated with out energy point as that would be recovered double the amount needed originally by the system once host regains his energy point. Skill is only limited to taking host and anything in contact with host 40 metres away from host's original position. Direction at which host looks at is also a vivid factor ].
[Skill cost: 50 energy points]
This was the system message that had made Rodney go insane after reading through at the battle field. Well in all sincerity, Rodney couldn't deny how helpful the system especially to him had contributed in saving his life. What more, he noticed it had somehow always looked out for him in a way though sometimes it acted in odd ways that makes him question if the system is with him or against him.
But even in the mist of all these, he still felt this bitter taste of anger towards something that was in close connection to him and the system. Going into the fight with the generals had turned out to be one of the worst decisions he had made. And he earnestly did put the bulk if not all the blame on himself.
But for some reason, he felt some other PERSON, had to have had a hand in his downfall to begin with. And that person was none other than Gypson, the voice and inactive companion inside his head. He knew for a fact that not only could Gypson access his thoughts, but he had free access to the system as well, although to what degree that he wasn't sure of.
But given that Gypson had access to the system, he was sure of it that Gypson had somehow seen the notification he had disregarded in the heat of the moment as the fighting had yet to have been concluded. So somehow, he felt Gypson had intentionally set him up for a beating and maybe subsequently death as deep in his mind he knew he had come too close for comfort and would have been dead if not for two contributing factor, Yang and the red sky.
The first being Yang who had practically destroyed the generals that they had barely been able to withstand the onslaught that came from him.
If they didn't before, now they had not only respect but for fear for Yang and what he was capable of. And somehow, they were all aware that the little show they had witnessed might only be nothing but a snippet of the actual extraordinary things Yang could do.
The second factor was something he was not so sure of what to make out of it. On one hand, the appearance of the red sky had served as a distraction and inadvertently saving him from impending doom. But on the other hand, just what the sudden appearance entailed was something he wasn't ready to imagine.
Sure he was well aware of the only potential thing that could have come from that sign. But then again he knew quite well that whatsoever left on that battle field was not going to be in the best and enviable state when seen next time. And how true were his thoughts as there was nothing left laying on the battle field where they had fought.
But they had moved past that and weren't in any form of immediate danger at the moment. So the one thing they all had in mind to ask was where they were at. With as many of them still in bad shape, it was only normal that they asked this question and even though no one had uttered a single word yet, Rodney knew quite well what the stares were all about as they all looked in his direction.
Their gazes had then later shifted to someone else. This was Yang and no, they weren't looking at him with admiration as what should have been expected after seeing such show of godly powers. But no, instead they looked at Yang in a bizarre way as right now he had his fan out and he was looking around every where.
"What is wrong with him?" Blair who hadn't sustained that much injury said.
"I think I have a pretty good idea of why he is acting that way. You all should probably see this one for yourselves. The map" Rodney said as he stared in the air looking at something. The others had a hard time understanding what he had meant. But soon after, a badly stabbed Eiko began to say.
"No...no..no..just how many of them are headed this way?" Eiko said as he also who was being helped to stay standing by Corey also took Rodney's position as he too was staring at the air in front of him. And immediately from this few words from Rodney and Eiko and their reactions, the group simultaneously opened their maps and their mouths were left wide open.
"What the..." Corey said as he stood shocked at what he was looking at, at that moment. It didn't take long for the others to give their remarks as they stared at the air. And shook their heads in terror.
" You don't think we can take them do you?" Jack asked with little signs of pain as he struggled to talk. He was one of the few legion members who had the battle really tough and deadly for them. With Mia being the exceptional case as she had practically passed out.
And as this question hit Rodney's ears, he didn't know what exactly he would say in return. While on one hand he tried not to be pessimistic, he couldn't also give his team false hope that they could win this one for multiple reasons other than strictly just being exhausted and needing a break.
This was the end of the road for Rodney as he stood still while still staring at the map on his system screen. He knew quite well that even at peak strength he couldn't possibly survive what was coming to them talk more of now that he had exhausted himself and basically had nothing left on him. His stats at the moment weren't going to be enough to keep him alive if his life depended on it he thought.
"We can't just stand here, they are getting closer by the minute" Erwin said. He also wasn't in the best of shape as he looked like he had just come out of a very violent and intense interrogation. But that wasn't the case as he had simply just been "bullied" in his fight against the generals. But none of that was important at the moment and the others expressed their feelings towards his remark as well.
"Well, I don't exactly see a path out of here unless you have something to say about that Rodney" Blaze said with a torn up shirt which was been covered by her long hair. And for this very reason, the boys had consciously avoided looking in her direction.
"I..can't. Not now" Rodney replied and even as he tried so hard to cover up the emotions, it was still picked up by them all as they could sense regret and shame in his voice. They all sympathized with him as they knew right now, he must be feeling that he is to blame for warping them over to what could only be spelled out as doom.
"Hey, , where's Yang?" Blair pointed out and before anyone one of them could answer....
