The maids left her after they were done. She was seated there feeling a little bit nervous about the life she was about to step in to. "May I come in dear," her thoughts were cut short by her mother who was at the door. She nodded at her who looked like she would be crying.
"You are the most beautiful bride I've ever seen," she said crying. She had a mixture of emotions where she was happy and at the same time sad. Sad that she couldn't get her daughter in to a love marriage. She felt like they had sold off her daughter for the kingdom and felt very guilty.
"Then why are you crying mother?" Mara asked enveloping her mother in a hug. She knew what was making her mother cry. They were all feeling guilty because they thought she didn't love Kiel and was being forced into the marriage. Well, she didn't know if Kiel felt what she did but she chose not to let her hopes sore high. She just hoped that that wouldn't affect their marriage.
"It's nothing. Actually I came here with the governess as we wanted to quickly tell you a few things. Matilda come in," a middle aged woman walked in. Mara wondered what it was that they wanted to teach her that close to her wedding. "Good evening your highness, I have come to remind you of your duties towards your husband as you left our classes for training," Matilda said.
Mara quickly figured out what they were saying and blushed profusely. They were here to explain about the wedding night and pleasing her husband! What was even worse was that her mind was now showing her a slideshow of Kiel's face. Suddenly the room felt extremely hot. She immediately remembered his wide muscular chest that he didn't bother hiding and turned pink.
"I'm pretty sure you know that it will hurt the first time right. You should bare with this and not complain so as not to anger him. You're job is to make sure he is satisfied and happy. You should also not comment on his size or try to do anything in bed except lying there. This might make him think you are not pure. Also men like being in control so feed his ego. Do whatever he asks you and be very submissive. I believe this is the most important part," Matilda said.
Her mother was standing by the wall not saying a word. She was also pink that her daughter was being taught such things. Mara had now blushed all shades or red. She could feel herself steaming. Literally. But she took in this information. She wouldn't want to anger her husband when their relationship was this young.
"If his stamina allows him to go till morning. it is you job to keep up till he stops. You should not demand a thing like him to stop as it is not in your place. You should also not suggest having sex with him as it is not lady like. You should also be available for him at any time wherever he wants you without question, did you understand princess?" Matilda asked to have her nod.
"I believe that is all your majesty," she turned to the queen and said. They both left after that to let the princess absorb the information she was taught. Mara couldn't help but wonder how their relationship was going to fair especially in that area that she dare not say for the life of her. She could only wish she had learned everything so as not to anger him.
After some time, her father came to get her for her wedding. She was so nervous as she walked down the isle. She dared not to look up at Kiel as they had been taught not to look up till the groom allowed you to after he took off your veil. They said their vows quickly and they exchanged their wedding bands.
This was the fastest wedding she had ever witnessed though she didn't have a problem with it. She loved it. Before they left, Kiel allowed her to go and say goodbye to her loved ones. She went over to her parents and hugged them each trying not to cry. She then went over to her brother and finally she couldn't hold back her tears and cried on his shoulder.
Kiel watched her seeing how much she loved her brother. He wondered if he had a sister he would also feel the same. Finally her brother brought her over together with Kara and a red mist covered all of them and they disappeared.
Everyone left was very worried about the princess. Would she survive? Would she be able to live with a demon without losing her mind? Most of them didn't peg their hopes on the princess being fine.
