Kasie slumped at the side of the restaurant's wall and groaned with intense pain throbbing from his chest. "Shit" he muttered in pain. He felt his world go dark for about 5 seconds but later felt a faint surge of strength pooling into his body.
He then crossed to the other side of the road and went into the dark alley.
Trying to figure out what had really happened in the last 8 minutes. 'Oh God, I'm not even allow to die now' he sobbed quietly.
He had been seeing strange things for the past week and today, he died.
He almost thought he had schizophrenia but he was totally wrong. It was something worse. They were trying to kill him and he didn't know why.
10 minutes ago, he was already breathing his last in his room after one of those blacked robed creatures rammed a bone like knife into his heart. Kasie didn't even know what those things were. They looked like humans but their emerald like eyes that glowed below the mask was enough evidence that they weren't human.
What was stranger was that he woke up at the other side of town where he bought a chain which he strongly believed was a rip off at $15.
Kasie cursed under his breath and tried to hide in the shadows. If anyone saw him right now, he was going to be in really deep shit.
The gory hole where he was stabbed was still bleeding and soaked his beige shirt. He didn't want to land in the police station because who would believe that he was fatally stabbed and woke up on the other side of town. He couldn't also go to the hospital because his injuries were too severe for him to be alive.
As Kasie made more excuses for himself to avoid people, it started to thunder heavily. He remembered that some shops were located at the end of the alley almost like a night black market. He walked down the alley and saw a large number of people walking around the little shops looking for things to buy. He secretly released a breath and muttered "At least no one would try to kill me in the midst of people ''.
While he tried avoiding people's eyes, he blended within the sea of people and tried finding a hiding place. His beige shirt did not help and attracted faint attention to him. Several eyes watching him in the dark glinted a faint shade of emerald and moved towards him with the crowd.
Kasie kept on navigating within the sea of people and located a Chinese herbal shop. He walked towards it but before he could enter, his sight turned black and he was hurriedly pulled into another shop with a burlap sack over his head.
