"What's wrong? Joan, I'm just concerned about you. Your father asked me to see if there was anyone suitable to introduce to you. He was too shy to say it, so he asked me to ask you. It's fine if you're too shy to say it." Sylvia deliberately ignored the angry look on Joan's face and pretended to be concerned.

"Thank you for your concern, Auntie. It's okay. It's just that the person I like has been bewitched by someone else. He hasn't realized how good I am yet," Joan said while pretending to be nonchalant.

"Joan, you have someone you like? Who is it? Tell me and I'll help you." Owen quickly asked her.

"No, Owen, I want to get him on my own," Joan said while glancing at Owen.

"Madam Sylvia, Mr. Jacob, it's getting late. I'm afraid my dad will be worried, so I won't disturb you guys any longer. I'll go home first." Before Owen could say anything, Joan stood up from her seat and smiled.
