"No, I didn't sleep. Anita, I was waiting for you." Owen's voice came through the phone to Anita's side. Anita suddenly felt a little ticklish when she heard this voice and couldn't help but reach out and touch her earlobe.
The two of them were in the room now and it was quiet.
Both of them seemed to be able to feel each other's breathing and heartbeat. For a moment, both of them fell silent. No one said anything else and they just listened to each other's breathing.
"Anita, I'm sorry. I didn't have a good attitude yesterday," Owen said first.
"It's okay. I left in too much of a hurry yesterday. I didn't tell you in advance," Anita replied hurriedly.
"Anita, I miss you," Owen said suddenly.
That was what he thought, so he said it. When he returned from work today, there was no one at home. He was used to seeing the night light Anita left for him when he returned from work.
