"Okay, let's go," Owen said while grabbing the clothes the waiter had packed and then taking Anita's hand again.
It wasn't until they were out the door of the mall that Anita realized how quickly Owen had prepared all her gear for playing golf the day before.
When they got back to their hotel room, Anita was still in high spirits. Neither of them mentioned the unhappiness from last night.
After washing up and lying on the bed, the two hugged each other intimately.
Anita glanced at Owen and couldn't help but lean in to kiss him. "Owen, thank you."
"What are you thanking me for, silly? It'll be exhausting golfing tomorrow. Go to sleep," Owen said gently to Anita.
"Well, good night." Anita smiled at Owen and nodded, then closed her eyes.
The next morning, the two of them woke up, washed up, went to the restaurant for breakfast, and took the hotel's tour bus to the golf course.
