Anita was still caught up in the awkwardness of the moment. She hadn't expected Jack to suddenly ask her a question. "I'm sorry," she said, stunned. "I didn't hear what you just asked."
Jack looked at Anita and wanted to reach out and touch her head, but this action was really inappropriate, so he said helplessly, "Why are you always distracted? I'm asking you when you'll come to the laboratory tomorrow."
"Tomorrow. I applied for leave from my mentor. I need to rest for the next two days," Anita said after thinking for a while.
"You're taking two days off because you're going somewhere? With your husband?" Jack asked Anita.
"Yes, the two of us are going out to play for two days." Anita was still not used to Jack's aggressive attitude from time to time.
Jack also felt that something was wrong with his words, so he tried to relax and then asked, "Where are you going?"
