So she said, "Have you guys discussed your marriage?"
"Don't worry, Mom. Owen will handle all of this. We don't have to worry about anything," Anita said.
"Oh, really? But we can't just do nothing," Anita's mom said hesitantly.
"It's okay, Mom. Just tell me the size of your and Dad's clothes. Owen will get the attire ready for you guys too." Anita knew that they were relieved, so she quickly changed the subject.
Her father, who had been listening without a word, finally said, "Anita, tell me the truth. You didn't get married because of money and it was really because you liked each other?"
Anita started to panic. She had never told a lie in front of her parents before, and for a moment, Anita didn't know how to answer.
"What are you doing? Anita already told us that they like each other. Why are you always pressuring her?" Anita's mom helped Anita out.
