Cameron had been on edge since his confrontation with Ava earlier, and he hadn't been able to focus on anything but her. Despite giving her space, he couldn't stop keeping tabs on her every move. When he heard she was going shopping with Kevin and Daisy, a sense of dread settled deep in his chest. Something didn't feel right. He couldn't shake the feeling that she was in danger, especially with the baby.
He immediately dialed Kevin, hoping to warn him to stay cautious, to keep an eye on Ava. But when Kevin saw Cameron's name flash across his phone screen, he scowled and ignored the call. His frustration with his brother had grown over time, and today, he didn't feel like entertaining whatever Cameron had to say.
Cameron wasn't one to take chances when it came to Ava. The thought of her out in public, possibly at risk, was enough to make him abandon his day at the office. Without a second thought, he left the company, grabbing his keys as he rushed out the door.
