Five Months Later...
A young girl's sleep was disturbed by the loud buzzing sound of the alarm.
Beep...Beep...
She took off the blankets over her face and tilted her head towards the alarm clock. She turned off the alarm and closed her eyes again to sleep. All of the sudden, she remembered about her interview at Richard's corporation.
" Ava Miller...you became so lazy. Get up..." Her mind said.
Instantly she opened her eyes stood up from the bed. She looked at the clock on the wall. It was seven in the morning.
" oh my god! I will be late to the interview..."
She ran into the bathroom and finished her chores quickly. She wrapped the baby pink towel around her body and went to the wardrobe. She selected a white shirt and a red pencil skirt from it. After drying her hair, she applied the body lotion all over her body. Then she wore the dress and combed her hair to get ready for the interview at the company. Her eyes turned to the wall beside her.
" I am going to attend the interview. And I promise you that I will take care of Aunty Garry. And I know your wishes are always with me, " she said with glossy eyes looking at the photo frame hanging on the wall.

Before leaving for the company, she checked her appearance in the mirror. She applied a light pink colored lipstick on her lips. She looked at the photo frame hanging on the wall once again. She touched it with her palm and kissed it.
" All the best... Ava..." she wished for herself looking at the mirror with a confident smile.

Then she locked the door of her flat and got down taking the elevator to her floor. She walked to the bus stop. She hopped on the bus and took a seat. On the bus, She prayed to God to get selected for the interview as this job is important for her. Once she reached her destined stop, she got down off the bus. Slowly she walked towards the company which was a few meters away from the bus stop. Standing outside the company, she noticed how huge the building is.
While closing her eyes as she felt nervous, she calmed her mind and entered the building. She walked towards the reception and enquired where the interviews were conducted.
" May I see your call letter for the interview? A young girl asked her. She gave a small smile and showed her the envelope of the call letter for the interview. She checked the list of the interview candidates and informed her to go to the twenty-fifth floor of the building.
" All the best ... Miss. Miller" the employee wished Ava.
" Thank you..." she replied with a small smile and went to the elevator for the twenty-fifth floor. Once the elevator door opened, she noticed only ten candidates for the interview. She waited for her name to be called for an interview. Almost thirty minutes later, she got a call from the team to take her interview. As she had experience in the same job profile, she got selected in the company as Marketing Head.
" Congratulations...you can join this company tomorrow onwards. You can take your joining letter from the HR department" one of the interview team members shook her hand.
" Thank you..." she smiled. She was overwhelmed to get the job in a reputed company like Richards Corporation. As it was a huge building, it was difficult for her to find where the HR department was. She lost her way while searching for the HR department looking for the direction board signs on the floor. She wanted to go to the reception and ask her help to know which floor the HR department was in.
