Jake stepped closer, his tone encouraging. "I think Daisy would want to know. She's your best friend and cares deeply about you. Maybe it's time to let her in on what's been going on."
Ava's hand instinctively went to her stomach, her mind racing. "I don't know if I'm ready for that," she admitted, her voice trembling.
Jake smiled gently. "You don't have to decide right now. Just think about it. It might help youAnd remember, you're not alone in this."
Ava bit her lip, her thoughts a whirlwind of doubt and fear. Yet, deep down, she knew Jake had a point.
"I'll think about it," she finally said, her voice soft but resolute.
Jake nodded, relieved. "That's all I ask. Just give it some thought. For your sake, and for the baby's."
Ava thought for a while, her brow furrowed in contemplation. Then she looked up at Jake, her eyes filled with a mix of curiosity and uncertainty. "Does Kevin know Daisy is alive?"
