Feeling convinced that John was a suitable host, Jaus chose to proceed with the test. Certainly, John's arms and limbs remaining stable and refusing to explode had already given him enough proof but he chose to go further as he had not done with Melinda.
He had this feeling, he was almost sure, and what scientist wouldn't want to test out his intuition. John would be strong, much stronger than Melinda and that excited him greatly, he certainly wouldn't let his non-existent morality or his lingering conscience impede his judgment as his body brimmed with excitement and joy.
