''The Premier Lacrosse League is coming back after a year! Last year's champions are the Michigan Wolves. Arthur Felcerine of Michigan Wolves got the MVP award...''
Shania listened to the sports news as she took a bowl of popcorn for herself.
''Calvin Fiere of Ohio State Buckeyes won the best midfielder for two years straight, I wonder if he can still be the best middie this year...''
''Calvin have grown so much. Haven't seen him lately.'' Shania said and put a popcorn in her mount, slowly chewing it.
''Jone Johanson of Calgary Roughnecks was the best goalie last PLL. And Harrie Laeviben from Los Angeles Riptide was the 2nd best attacker last season. If Travis Rake was here, he would have won as the MVP. Sadly, he was a woman abuser.'' The TV host laugh at Travis which made his partner lost interest and walked out.
His partner and most of all celebrities in sports that Travis Rake was good guy. The jury was surely paid by his teammate which was Carlos Malito whose now part of Denver Pioneers. Carlito was benched all of the games their team played for two years and he decided to transfer. He is still benched to this day.
It was so hard to have Travis back on the team.
''Sports News will be back after the advertisements.''
''What a bullshit.'' Shania said and turned the TV off. She put the bowl into the fridge and went upstairs.
''Still 9 pm.'' Shania said and walked towards Michele's room.
''My daughter is gonna be a mother. Fuck, I am aging.'' Shania spent her night looking at her children's photo albums.
Travis measured his new uniform with his team watching.
''Fells good you're back.'' Calvin hugged him.
''We're gonna be champions this time.'' the youngest player, Malvin, said.
''Of course we will.''
The night before the PLL starts, it was the time to introduce Travis back.
''This year's PLL will be exciting as a star is coming back to us.''
The broadcaster nod to the person on his left. It was a live broadcast which is happening for the opening of PLL.
''Yes, due to an issue that he was an ''abuser'', the star will be playing with us. And the case of him will be re-opened.''
''I miss the guy so much!''
''Let's all welcome here tonight! Our White Star of Miami! Travis Rake!''
Travis walk his way to the broadcasters. The lights, the camera's and the applause of the crowd, nothing could compare this thing.
''How are you doing, Travis? Long time no see.''
The broadcasters hugged Travis. He never felt welcome when he faced the reporters when he was at court.
''I am fine. In love and such.'' He said as they took their seats.
''You're in love?'' Marley, an old broadcaster, asked.
''Wow. After your breakup with Samantha Philpes 4 years ago, you are in love?''
''Yes. Although, I feel for the lady while I was celebrating my comeback weeks ago. I never saw her again.''
''What a sad romance you had. She must be pretty. A message for her?''
''Is it okay?''
''It's completely fine. Go.''
Travis took a deep sigh and look deeply in the camera.
''Namie, wherever you are, my heart is beating here for you...'' he said and clenched his chest.
''...I want your presence...'' Travis said and smiled bitterly.
''Wow. That is a short but so romantic message for Namie.''
''Now, we want to talk about your return here, your comeback at Lacrosse. Are you feeling a bit well about this all?'' Kal, a critic broadcaster, asked.
''Yes, I do. About the issue three years ago...I know it's still there after these years. But I want to say thank you for those who believed in me. To Carlito, my former teammate, I hope you're happy for what you did. Justice will come to both of us again soon.''
Travis said and talked all night with the broadcaster.
After 3 TV guesting he made, Travis drive himself home.
Shania meet Travis in the doorway.
''You're looking good in the TV.''
''I am good-looking, mom.''
''Yes. Yes you are. Take of your shoes.''
''Where's Michele?'' Travis asked as he took off his left shoe.
''You've been busy these days. They bought the house across us.'' Shania pointed a house at the window. ''They have finished transferring their things there this morning.''
''At least it's just a walk away.''
''Yeah. The CEO...I mean, Laster wants them to live near me.'' Shania boastfully said.
''What about Laster's family?''
''Well, they said they have a private plane to land here anytime.''
''Billionaires.''
''Yes. Billionaires.'' Shania agreed with her son and brought food into the dining table.
''Is your husband not home yet?'' Travis asked Shania.
''Nah. He's being accompanied by someone.'' Travis looked at her eyes.
''Mom?''
''Yes?''
''Is he cheating on you?''
''Yes. All is according to plan on divorcing him.''
''That's great news!''
''Super great news. I hired the girl by the way. She can have the money he owned.''
''Then what about us?'' Travis asked. Concerned by the life their gonna have after the divorce.
''You forgot?'' Shania asked.
''About what?''
''Your grandfather, which is my Dad, is a billionaire too, right?'' she said.
''And?''
''He texted me this morning and said 70 percent of all his money will be given to me.''
''To you? What about me?''
''Oh. I'll give you the ten percent and to Michele the other ten percent. The 70 percent will be divided. 50 for me. Ten each for you and your sister. She's marrying a billionaire.''
Shania laughed. Travis phone alerted for a new message. It came from his grandpa.
''And you'll be inheriting the company an hour after he dies.''
''What?'' Shania said which made Travis give the phone to his mother.
''I'll inherit the company, the houses and the resorts?'' Shania asked herself as she reads the message.
''And you, sweetie, will inherit the largest resort here in Miami.''
Travis unwillingly spat out the soda he was drinking.
''WHAT?''
''Michele will inherit the sub-company which is connected to Michele's future husband's company.''
''So we will be making a lot of money?'' Travis questioned his mom.
''Yep, dearest.''
''How happy are you as an only child mama?''
''Glad they didn't given me my wishes of having a sibling decades ago.''
