Chapter 148 - Interest

In the deep slate slums of Hellsburg, there were still homeless that chose to live between the buildings of large houses near the market.

Although they were immigrants and were being catered to live in houses, they were all in disbelief that it was free and that they will be forced to pay for it in any kind of ridiculous amount, and even slavery.

However, it was what they had only believed, not knowing that the houses were indeed not free at all, but was being given to them as a part of pay to rent system, whereas they must work and pay each month a certain quota for years to come until they fully pay the total of the house.

It was the pay-to-rent houses that others were favorable of, and only those homeless think that they are traps, only waiting for the lord's true intentions to enslave them.
