Written in a small journal, the name of the young boy was revealed to be one of the Maximilians as well.
His writing was intricate, and with almost all letters written in cursive, Maximilian himself had a hard time reading it properly.
As written in the journal, Wendel had been well aware that he was adopted, and that his parents had abandoned him due to financial issues.
It sounded like the Maximilians were yet to become officially nobles, abandoning their sons and daughter to random people, testing their luck for a prodigy that would bring them prosperity.
It was like playing gacha, as those modern-day people would say.
Wendel wasn't one of those SSS prices. He was deemed ineffective, defective, and even useless.
