Actually, I could taste that there was something wrong with the condiments, but in order to play along with Dacia's reaction, I had to agree with him.
"You're causing trouble!" Daniel said sternly.
"It doesn't count if the guests like it!" Lily felt self-righteous.
Daniel controlled his emotions and said to us in a gentle tone, "I'm sorry, but this meal was a failure. Why don't we eat outside?"
"No need. Dacia and I think it's delicious." I quickly took another bite of my salad.
Anyway, the results were the same for us wherever we went. Apart from raw seafood, everything tasted terrible.
"We have to at least order a pizza," Daniel said while shaking his head and giving Lily a reproachful look.
