Upon discovering that consuming a corpse can recover his lost stamina, Razwold wonders if he can do the same with Stranglers. "This is good," he said with a sinful glee to his face.
1 month has passed, Razwold eventually has gotten used to death. He encountered various type of monsters and enemies. Razwold got better equipment from the bandits that he slain. He also discovered about his strange power, the power to become a menancing warrior.
He survived various challenges in the desert. He has gotten more confident and more arrogant than before. He didn't let anything escape from his grasp. He has achieved a psychopathic trait. A trait dangerously paired with his bloodlust trait. Also becomes a cannibal.
He did mind that this change makes him another abomination, but if this is how he will survive, he will embrace it. Razwold looks to the horizon and said, "Though I may never get out of this hell, one thing is for sure, I will not get the last laugh."
3 months later, Razwold looks at the horizon once again and sees a peculiar cone shape silhouette from distance miles away. "Is this it? Am I gonna be able to leave this forsaken place?," Razwold asked himself, full of hope.
His journey continues when something appeared blocking his path. A fearsome large beast pounces towards Razwold. Razwold moves out of the way but gets scratched by his right arm in the process. The beast roars very loudly that badly irritated Razwold's eardrums, like it was about to pop.
Razwold feels fear when he looks up to the beast. A big lion with a bunch of snakes as its tail. "Man...ticore..," Razwold said as he tries to lift his warhammer. He was able to lift it but his legs stays stiff like a statue. His eyes is visibly shaken as the beast circles around him.
How will this wanderer survive in this situation? The Manticore is a giant lion with a pair of giant wings and a scorpion stinger as its tail. It has sharp claws and fangs and they are proficient predators. This monster knows when it will move out of the way to avoid attacks. One look at the scars, this Manticore has gone through many battle in its life.
The Manticore raises up its wings and loudly roars throughout the air, causing fear to anyone who is nearby. Razwold is having difficulty to breathe properly and the weight of his warhammer makes him more tires. He is scared to death. He looks at the might beast and said, "No... It cannot end like this... This is not how it should end..."
Determined to survive, Razwold lifts up his warhammer and fixes his stance properly. He has survived for more than a month. With fire raging inside of him, Razwold makes a stand in this battlefield, where only one may live and only one should die.
