Eleonore’s POV
“Where do I begin…” Ronan started as he ran his hands down his face. “Perhaps I should start with your parents.”
I nodded my head as he continued. The two of us had taken a seat on the couch, and I was facing him as he faced forward. Ronan had begun with my parent’s first, telling me of their bond and their union, and then of the difficulties that both of those things had caused.
“The mages of many of the councils were concerned about your… special abilities.” At this, I gave Ronan a strange look.
‘Special abilities?’ I asked and Ronan nodded his head. ‘What do you mean I have special abilities?’
“Your bloodline, specifically your mother’s, have always had a vast number of mages that from time to time would inherit more than just magic. It was a sort of… gift, even within the mage community.”
