"Although we're at home and your father and elder brother aren't here, Qin Mei is, he is Qin Ruan's second brother, if he hears you talking like this, he won't hesitate to skin you alive. Be more careful in future."
"He's not home though," Han Kexin pouted.
Qin Mei, the second son of the Qin family, and Qin Ruan's twin brother.
A rogue, with an extremely domineering nature, was quite the headache.
When it came to matters related to Qin Ruan, the two Qin brothers were fiercely protective of their little sister. Qin Mei, however, was the most intense, acting like a mad dog.
Han Kexin pressed on, "Mom, what did Qin Ruan say? Will she come back?"
With an inscrutable expression, Han Xian replied, "Qin Ruan will be back tonight. If she really knows something, I don't mind speeding up the process of destroying her. If it's all bluster, let's remind her of her place in the world and some things she shouldn't dare."
Han Kexin wrapped her arms around herself and grumbled, "Mom, I don't want her in this house. I always feel like she's a ticking time bomb."
Han Xian reached out, caressing her daughter's hair, her voice barely perceptible, "My dear, just bear with it a little longer, there is no place for her in the Qin family."
"But Dad, big brother, and Qin Mei all protect her. And, Qin Ruan holds 20% of the Qin Group's shares!"
This was Han Kexin's biggest concern.
With her father, big brother, and Qin Mei on her side, and owning so many shares of the Qin Group.
It would not be easy to ruin her.
Han Xian coldly chuckled, "Baby, you have to know that some things aren't what they seem. Your father and big brother protect Qin Ruan so much, do you think she appreciates it? Even if Qin Mei protects her in public, can't you see their incompatibility because of Qin Ruan's temperament?"
Before Han Kexin could respond, Han Xian interrupted her.
