Time flies; ten minutes had already passed.
Josh saw a shabbily-dressed, middle-aged man with messy hair and a skinny figure swiftly approaching.
The two youths next door brightened up at his arrival.
The shorter red-haired guy stood up and waved at the man, calling, "Hey old man, I'm right here!"
Gazing at the obvious greed displayed on his face made Josh feel a sense of repulsion.
His sympathy was already filling up for the frantic middle-aged man, who was visibly corrupted by poverty.
The man held some loose change in his hand, pushing it into the shorter red-haired man's hand.
"Son, I just gave you more than a hundred dollars yesterday, why do you need more today?"
"Enough with the nonsense!"
The shorter man snatched the money from the middle-aged man's hand, barking, "Hand it over!"
He counted the money and was upset to see it fell short of two hundred.
