Qin Ruan turned her head, and leaning on the door was Huo Yunjiao, looking at her with an amused expression in his eyes.
He was dressed in comfortable home clothes, holding a folder in his hand, exuding an aura of refined nobility.
Qin Ruan's eyes quivered slightly as she lazily responded, "I don't feel like moving."
Huo Yunjiao walked into the room, casually placed the folder on the table, and approached her bedside.
He sat on the edge of the bed, touched Qin Ruan's forehead and said, "Your temperature is normal. Why are you being lazy today? Were you too tired yesterday?"
"No, I just don't feel like moving."
Qin Ruan slowly closed her eyes as a faint scent of sandalwood filled her nostrils.
The familiar smell comforted her.
With slender fingers touching Qin Ruan's face, Huo Yunjiao gently stroked her smooth cheeks, and softly suggested, "It's already nine o'clock. Shall we get up and eat something?"
