There was a large round pool on the ground.
It was filled with bubbling dense liquid, with melting shades of white and blue. If lava could occur in sub-zero forms, this substance was exactly that.
"In older days, we used to call it Blue Matter," Hikari-sensei commented, "or Anti Matter since this acts completely opposite to the earthly matters we are aware of."
There was an eerie glow radiating from the pool.
Hikari-sensei said nothing more about it and simply tossed a card toward Azuma.
It was a plain black card with no writings or symbols.
"Your treasure," an admiring smile spread over her lips, "This place, as well as that card. They hold something important."
She slightly leaned and patted his head, "But you're smart, Azuma-kun. So, I will leave it up to you to find that."
He was confused, "But this is just… a plain card."
