Touma brightly grinned as he lifted the paper bags. A warm savoury scent of takoyaki wafted in the air.
All of the Red Knuckle members surrounded him at once.
There was only one shop takoyaki in that area, and it was run by an ageing woman who opened her shop only on Fridays.
"Where is Ryuka?" Touma asked, searching the shadows of the alleys.
"He said…" a large domineering boy replied, stuffing a takoyaki in his mouth, "hfe whud be ghoin tuh tha parkh—"
"Park?" Touma asked, blinking his eyes.
"Yah," the boy shrugged, "he said he would be back soon…"
It was odd for Ryuka to leave like that. Friday nights were special, it was the only time all of the Red Knuckles will come together and share their favourite snacks.
Worrying that Ryuka's takoyaki might get cold, Touma swiftly ran towards the park.
The glowing flower buds on the bushes created a dim soft glow around the park. No one was there at the time.
But…
