The rain did not end that night.
Azuma darkly watched his reflection over the glass window, as the water washed down the blood and mud off him. His vision still shifted in and out of dizziness, but the heaviness and numbness all over his body were no longer as bothersome as before.
But he could no longer think about that.
A deep frown settled on his lips, as he glanced at Kareen.
"Done yet?"
She blinked her eyes, confused, but did not stop sewing the little wound with the nearly transparent silver thread.
"What happened though?" Kareen tried to not let her fear reflect on her voice, "Did someone bash your head too hard?"
She immediately returned to the botanical garden after alerting her group members. Kareen couldn't just leave Azuma alone when she knew he was facing Black Thunder.
But she never expected the fight to be ended so quickly.
There were half a dozen people, or so she had concluded earlier.
