[ Three Days Later ]
A dim cyan light blinked on the earpiece as it projected a four-dimensionally holographic view around Azuma. There were messages popping inside one screen, the notifications of members that joined the conference.
And a few awkward screens of those who forgot their cameras were on.
But overall, the air was heavy.
Azuma was sitting at the edge of the building's roof, quietly staring at the moon who was too bright. Its unnatural ethereal glow covered the City in a calming silver hue.
Yet it only left him feeling more uneasy.
The night was the same as when he first met that girl from Black Thunder. Saki was strange, he could tell. Something about her felt oddly familiar as if it was not the first time they met.
As if they had known each since a long time.
But he could not understand that emotion.
It was as irrational as he felt for Shiro.
