"What surprises me,"
Kareen murmured as she sat down near Azuma, becoming suddenly quiet as she leaned against the wall and watched a group of people drag away the bloody bodies of two men to the very end of the room.
They broke into a quarrel.
One of them accuses the other of secretly carrying and eating some snacks. He claimed that the other person hide those little energy bars inside his clothes.
The claim was asserted with such certainty, that most of the people didn't even budge to stop them when the fight broke out and took a gory turn.
All hoping to get some sort of food.
By the time they did try to stop the two fighting men, it was too late. The assailant was too consumed in his rage that he saw or heard nothing.
Eventually, he killed the other person.
And while some people tried to pull him back, he ended up being roughly slammed against a pillar of the wall.
Just like that.
