"No!" Ezra giggled, leaning over the table as she tried to get the glass back.
Her was blushed red, and there was a look of pure joy dancing in her eyes. She was carefree and ecstatic as she tried to win.
But Azuma had a playful smile, and though he soon found himself laughing with as much joy as her, he also managed to keep his glass of drink out of her.
The air was light and beautiful, and there were no worries in their minds. When was the last time the two of them felt so good?
None of them could remember.
None of them cared.
Ezra gasped, losing her balance and then, Azuma stiffened a little. She was holding onto his shoulder, and that hold was the only thing between her and her fall.
She blinked her eyes a little, and then lifted them. They were moist from all that laughing, and now as they stared straight into his soul, Azuma forgot everything.
He felt a strong sensation cross his heart.
